I think with your trial you did, you got the results I would expect. When I tried it I didn't really notice anything until after 60 minutes of running and 90 minutes on the bike. If you are willing to try again I would suggest doing a 90 minute run with only water. I think the reason that you don't notice right off is that the theory behind it is that it allows you to burn fat quicker in the early stages and thus save your glycogen stores for later, ie your energy will last longer on your run, so if you only go 45 minutes, you haven't gotten near the end of your stores yet. For me I really noticed it in the last two miles of my 8 mile run when the legs felt stronger than normal on the hills. But if your not going to try it again I'd be happy to take them off your hands.

I agree with the other comment: HornetJuice seems to work best when you'd normally be exhausting your muscle glycogen (longer workouts), to encourage your body to burn fat rather than carbohydrate/stored-glycogen.

Short runs/rides will likely not show any real difference as you'd not have drained your glycogen supplies normally, and so the delta would be small if noticeable (though your recovery may be quicker).
